Service area is based on project fit, not just distance.

DRDC Group is based in Conyers, Georgia and primarily serves the Atlanta metro area. Extended-area work is considered when the project scope, design fee, and coordination requirements justify the travel.

Primary service area

Local projects receive priority access for site visits and in-person consultation.

DRDC Group provides design, interior planning, renovation readiness, owner advisory, and project control services throughout the Atlanta metro area from our Conyers, Georgia base.

For smaller projects such as decks, single-room design concepts, kitchens, baths, and standard renovation planning, local service is prioritized so travel does not consume the value of the project.

Best fit for local service

  • Kitchen and bath design planning
  • Deck and exterior improvement concepts
  • Basement finishing concepts
  • Single-room or limited-scope interior planning
  • Local renovation readiness reviews
  • Local owner advisory and project control support
Extended-area projects

Outside the local area, the project must justify the travel.

DRDC does not travel outside the primary service area for every small project. Extended-area work is reviewed selectively based on project size, design fee, travel requirements, and overall fit.

Usually local only

Smaller projects are typically served locally or remotely because travel can quickly exceed the value of the work.

  • Deck concepts
  • Single-room updates
  • Small kitchen or bath concepts
  • Basic finish consultations

Considered by approval

Mid-size projects outside the local area may be accepted when the design fee and project need support the additional coordination.

  • Whole-home renovation planning
  • Large additions
  • Major interior redesigns
  • Multi-room renovation packages

Selective extended service

Large, premium, and estate-scale projects may justify extended travel, scheduled site visits, and higher-level design support.

  • Custom homes
  • Estate-scale renovations
  • Luxury design packages
  • Multimillion-dollar residential projects
Simple rule

The project must support the level of service required.

DRDC will travel for the right project, the right scope, and the right fee structure. We do not turn distance into a hard no, but we do require extended-area work to make business and project sense.

Extended-area projects may require

  • Minimum design retainer
  • Travel fee or reimbursable travel cost
  • Scheduled site-visit blocks
  • Remote discovery before in-person travel
  • Project scope review before acceptance

Remote support option

Some projects outside the local area may be supported remotely through photos, video walkthroughs, plans, sketches, measurements, and owner-provided project documentation.

This may be appropriate for early concept development, design direction, project readiness, and scope planning before committing to in-person service.

Start with intake

Tell us where the project is and how large it is.

The intake form asks whether the project is local, extended-area, remote-support, or large-scale. That lets DRDC evaluate fit before scheduling time or travel.
